As of February 15th, 2012 ... the Cardiologist successfully closed a 6mm hole in Rita's heart and so far no complications. She is in good spirits and will probably be released Thursday morning. This should be the last of our trips to the Meijer Heart center in Grand Rapids and we are ready to put all this behind us and move ahead with physical therapy through the spring. Thank you to everyone for the words of encouragement throughout this very long ordeal; it has helped Rita to know people are out there pulling for her recovery.
